I am delighted to be able to present you with the next phase of the School's Adult Education Programme.
Our new course programme consists of the following courses;

- SAGE Computerised Book Keeping with Helen Daniels
- GARDEN DESIGN with Gill Morris
- BASIC COMPUTERS with Andrew Leyland

- CHOCOLATE GIFTS with Jackie Taylor
- MANICURES AND NAIL ART with Lisa Lawton
To enrol on any of the courses listed above please come to Lowton High School on Monday 9th January between 5-7pm
If you are thinking of enrolling upon one of our new courses please be aware that;
- Our courses are only available to those people who are eligible to live in the United Kingdom and have done so for a period of time [between 1 and 3 years depending upon personal circumstances]
- All of the courses contained in our Adult Education Programme have a fee attached [the exceptions being our Maths and English courses which are available free of charge].
- The course fees are calculated at the subsidised rate of £1.50 per hour [in 2010/11 the rate was £1.25]
- Concessions are available on course fees but only to those who receive Job Seekers Allowance and/or the Employment and Support Allowance [work related activity group]
- Those entitled to a concession can access any of our courses free of charge [in 2010/11 a charge of £5 was applied]
Concessions are no longer available to those who receive the following benefits; Council Tax Benefit, Housing Benefit, Income Support, Working Tax Credit, Pension Credit or forms of Employment Support Allowance.
