I am delighted to be launching the 2010/11 Adult Education Prospectus for Lowton High School.
The course programme for 2010/11 includes a number of new courses and tutors. I would like to extend a warm welcome to those tutors who will be joining our Adult Education Programme during 2010/11.
1. Tony Stopyra will be delivering a Conversational French courses.
2. Brian Austerfield will be delivering a beginners Italian course.
3. Ivy Tang will be delivering an introductory course in Chinese Culture.
4. Yvonne Gerrard will be delivering an introductory course for those wishing to develop their Office Administration skills.
5. Jane Eastwood will be delivering a Stress Management course.
6. Shirley Southworth will be delivering courses in cake decorating, cup cakes and biscuit making.
7. Mercedes Gil-Soriano will be delivering a beginners Spanish course.
8. Patrick Walton will be delivering an Ebay course for those who wish to explore the workings of this popular website.
9. Gill Morris will be delivering a Garden Design course.
10. Rik Whittaker will be delivering a Photography course.
11. Dave Pennington will be delivering an Image Manipulation course for those who wish to learn how to use photoshop to improve the look of old photographs and digital images.
Finally, I am pleased to confirm that our enrolment process will begin on Monday 6th September 2010 for all courses starting before Christmas.
For courses starting on a Monday, on or after 20th September (and the beginners/improvers German and the beginners french courses) we will be enrolling on Monday 6th September.
For courses starting on a Tuesday, on or after 28th September we will be enrolling on Tuesday 7th September.
For courses starting on a Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday on or after 29th September we will be enrolling on Wednesday 8th September.
